The wine has a rich bouquet, blackberry, violets and truffles after a few years. On the palate, typical Margaux tannins are recognizable, both smooth and elegant. Brane is never the most demonstrative, but it is a superb wine that ages with grace. The recent vintages are at an excellent level.
