PENFOLDS BIN 2 SHIRAZ-MATARO
Ks 80,000
South Australia, Australia
Penfolds’ Bin 2, a wine blend of Shiraz and Mataro (also known as Mourvèdre), was first introduced in 1960 but was temporarily discontinued in the 1970s due to the popularity of white wine in Australia. However, it has made a comeback under the supervision of Chief Winemaker Peter Gago. The combination of Shiraz and Mataro is still relatively rare in Australian table wines. Bin 2 is characterized as a soft and medium-bodied wine with delicate oak undertones. Its flavors of rich redcurrant and plum make it a delightful pairing with roast venison.
